Overview


Above is a list of bed covers and their fitment with the Maxify Bed Raiser system. When choosing a bed cover or seeing if your current bed cover will fit our system, here's a few general tips....

  1. Standard Bed Cover Clamps: Some bed covers use threads, holes, or features in your truck bed to mount. When mounting those bed covers on our system (higher up), those mounting features are no longer there. Most of the time, you can simply purchase clamps to mount it. Covers that use standard clamps work best with our system. 
  2. Built-in Bed Track Systems: Some trucks (like Toyota Tacomas, Tundras, and Jeep Gladiators) have bed track systems. When ordering your bed cover for our system, make sure to select "without Trail Rail System" or "without Deck Rail System". This will tell them to send standard clamps with your bed cover, which will pair with our system.
  3. Retractable Bed Covers: These bed covers typically require some modification to work. Retractable covers often have side rails that extend over your truck's tailgate. Because of this, our Tail Member will be unable to be taken in and out. Most of the time, there are plastic end caps on your bed cover side rails by the tailgate that can be removed, which gives enough room for the Tail Member to slide in and out.
  4. Wide Bed Covers: A small percentage of bed covers (some soft folding, almost all one-piece covers), are wider than our system. The Maxify Side Members sit 3 inches over your truck bed rails, meaning they are 3 inches wide. Bed covers that sit past 3" on your truck bed rails will overhang past our system to the outsides of your truck. Normally this doesnt effect anything, but it can look less than appealing. Bed covers that sit flush with the very outsides of your truck bed rails often are too wide for our system and will hang over.
